Estimating the initial point in the Lorenz 96 model using t-walk
DateFriday, January 25, 2019 - 12:00pm
AbstractWe attempt to estimate the initial point on a trajectory of the 96 Lorenz ODE system. We have noisy data and we use the t-walk to run MCMC. The t-walk is a "A General Purpose Sampling Algorithm for Continuous Distributions" to sample from many objective functions, it is an MCMC that does not require tuning.
