Postdoctoral Research Associate I
The Program in Applied Mathematics at the University of Arizona School of Mathematics invites applications for an Applied Mathematics Postdoctoral Fellow.
- The fellow is expected to split their time 50/50 between research and education in physical, engineering, biological, data science and other flavors of applied mathematics.
- The fellow will participate in developing and implementing innovative approaches to teaching the applied mathematics program core and specialized courses.
- The fellow will conduct his/her own research in any area of modern applied mathematics. Collaboration of the fellow with professors and graduate students of the program are encouraged.
- The Applied Mathematics Postdoctoral Fellow reports to the chair of the Program in Applied Mathematics.
This is a two-year non-tenured position. Expected start date August 2019 beginning of Fall semester.
